At Communities In Schools of Whatcom-Skagit, we believe that strong, collaborative relationships between educators, students, and the community are essential to creating a supportive and enriching school environment. That’s why we hosted Principal’s Day—to recognize and celebrate the vital role principals play in leading our schools, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Principals are at the heart of our schools. They guide not only academic progress but also the social and emotional well-being of students, teachers, and staff. By bringing together principals from across several school districts, we aimed to honor their tireless work, provide an opportunity for professional collaboration, and reinforce the importance of community in education. Principal’s Day is just one way we demonstrate our commitment to building strong partnerships that help schools become places where every student is supported, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Through this event, we sought to highlight the incredible leadership our principals provide and ensure they feel empowered and connected to the resources, networks, and community support our organization provides that is necessary to create thriving school environments.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to every principal who showed up for this event, we look forward to hosting it again!
