Melinda is a Texas native who has lived in Whatcom County for the last 15 years. Melinda has a Bachelors in Social Work from Texas State University. She joins CIS W-S as the Executive Director after serving on the Board of Directors for 10+ years. Melinda has a passion for the work that CIS W-S and is excited to continue the mission of the organization.
During her free time Melinda enjoys knitting, working in the garden, fishing, reading, and playing with her puppy, Lulu.
