Aliscia Garcia (she/her), is the site coordinator for Anacortes Middle School. Aliscia is so excited to be a part of Anacortes Middle School & the Anacortes community! Aliscia is new to the Anacortes area and recently moved to Oak Harbor, but is enjoying getting to know the area. Aliscia has over 8 years of experience working with children and families in various roles within the community and school setting. Aliscia’s previous role was a School Social Worker at Hazelwood Middle School serving students K-12 and enjoys utilizing her knowledge and expertise to support students with achieving their goals. Having grown up with a military background, Aliscia has traveled with her family to various locations, but when her father retired from the Coast Guard she decided to move to Washington to be closer to family after recently getting engaged to her fiance, Robby. Aliscia has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Masters in Social Work. Aliscia enjoys working with so many students, community members, families, and school staff. Aliscia looks forward to supporting the students and community of Anacortes Middle School!
Aliscia has three furbabies, a 13 year old Basset Hound, Copper and two kitties, Mochi and Neko! In her free time, Aliscia enjoys reading, crafting, gaming, exploring the beautiful views of Washington and going on hikes with Mr. Copper!
