Nahrin Aziz-Parsons, M.Ed. is the lead Early Childhood Education faculty member and Project Director of the Restorative Teachings Early Childhood Education Initiative at Northwest Indian College. She received her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and served as a Teach for America corps member in New Orleans, LA. Nahrin then received a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership at University of Washington, Seattle and served as an officer for the student organization, Educators for Social Justice. Nahrin’s special interests include ending the achievement gap and education debt for students of diverse cultural backgrounds. She has served as a Founding Board Member for CIS of Whatcom County since 2006.
