Nicole joined Communities In Schools of Whatcom-Skagit in 2024, bringing a collaborative spirit and deep passion for youth advocacy and student support. She started with the organization as a Site Coordinator at Harriet Rowley Elementary, where she worked directly with students, families and school staff to build meaningful connections and sustainable systems.
As a Program Manager, she proudly supports Site Coordinators in their vital roles, celebrating their ingenuity and prioritizing program needs. She believes deeply in the power of creative problem solving, systems, and a healthy heap of whimsy to bring fresh energy to the work.
With a focus on connecting schools, families, and communities, Nicole is committed to building strong, resource-rich networks that open avenues and build upon student strengths.
Outside of work, she prioritizes time with her family and children, and enjoys stepping into imaginative worlds through Renaissance Fairs and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
