Winter Wishes
Winter Wishes is a holiday giving program that creates a culture of giving within the school. We were able to serve more than 40 students by purchasing basic needs items like shoes, hats and sweatshirts. In addition, more than 70 students were impacted by the program in total through participation in gift wrapping, promotion, or nominating friends to receive gifts. This program did amazing things to boost morale in students who were not looking forward to the break for various home life reasons, and fostered amazing community building within the school and the greater community. It was a rewarding experience to see so many community members and students rally together to support one another, to see the hearts of servitude in these kids blossom, and to feel the power of the work we do come to life.
